Adrenal Gland
The adrenals are small, lima bean-shaped glands vital to the production of hormones that assists in alleviating stress and allergic reactions, improving muscle tone, regulating blood-sugar levels, infections, and maintaining general endurance. When the adrenals releases too few or too many hormones, the body responds differently. Often the adrenals becomes "exhausted", when constant demand are placed upon them. Someone with adrenal exhaustion may feel stressed out, short temper, can't focus, and have low energy levels. Physical stress occurs when an external force acts upon the body, by overtraining the body, poor nutrition, lack of supplements and exposure to drugs such as steroids or speed. These factors can put the body under extreme stress and can restrain the results you are looking for.  The increase in the production of adrenal hormones which occurs with stress, increases the metabolism of protein, fats and carbohydrates, producing instant energy for the body to use. But, as you put more stress on the adrenal gland. the weaker it will become, until there is a decreased. When this happens, the system reacts adversely, and conditions such as ulcers, hypertension (high blood pressure), backaches, allergic, weaken immune system, infections, asthma, fatigue, lack of energy, and insomnia often develop.

Ephedrine and Clenbuterol are other asthmatic drugs are used alot with athletes. These products can increase the oxygen intake by opening the lungs, increase endurance and heart rate. These products are also know for providing energy and burning fat.  These products also weaken the adrenal gland and  increase adrenal exhaustion.  When using these products, you should increase your Ex Sterol supplements.

The Digestion
The body needs food to build healthy cells and create energy. Every time we eat, the digestion system must breakdown food into the nutrients vital for muscle growth. A healthy digestive system depends on healthy organs and glands that secretes adequate levels of enzymes ot hormons to aid digestion. For example, the stomach products pepsin and hydrochloride acid, and pancreas releases insulin, together these enzymes digests proteins, carbohydrates and fats.   With athletes intaking high amounts of protein these days, you may see protein powders add enzymes into their protein products. These digestive enzymes are often called: aminogen, carbogen, FOS, legumase, HCI, cellulase, or bromelain such as used in Opti-Pro meal and Pro Complex.   High amounts of meats, fats, age and even steroids, can weaken the digestion system. When indigesting high amounts of proteins, carbohydrates and fats the digestive system might reduce it's efficency. This can cause; gas, hearburn, belching, bad breath,and bloating.  

Supplements: Digestive enzyme after each meal. Also detoxifying the liver see liver below. Eat smaller meals but more often can help.

The Heart
The most important organ in the body. Factors affecting the heart are: exercise, hormones, temperature, pain and stress. Many athletes develop heart failure from more than one cause.  Many of the symptoms linked to heart failure are caused by the malfunction of organs other than the heart such as:  the lungs, kidneys, and liver. The common causes of heart failure are hardening of the arteries cause by high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. These two factors can be cause by water retention, steroid use, fatty foods and the lack of electrolytes.
 
Electrolytes are important with athletes and keeping the heart healthy. Potassium and magnesium are complex specific in tis action as an electrolye to the cells of the heart. The complex is trasported actively into the heart where the potassium aids in electrical processes and the magnesium acts as a catalyst in the enzyme processes. Both minerals balance the osmotic pressure in the cells of the heart and counteracts high blood pressure. Anabolic steroids, exercise and heavy sweating usually promote the loss of potassium and magnesium from the heart muscle. Deficency of magnesium has been link to attacks. High Blood pressure on the other hand can force the heart to pump harder than normal becuse the decreased velocity of blood flowing through the arteries creates resistance that the heart must overcome. This overwork can make the arteries stiff and brittle. To meet the increasing workload, the heart may add muscle fibers which places an additional burden on the heart.  Evertually, the overworked heart may fail.

The Kidneys
The kidneys located below the middle of the back on each side of the sprine. In addition to producing urine, the kidneys secrete a hormone called erythropoirtin, which controls the production of red blood cells. The kidneys also help maintain the blood pressure of the body. Long-term steroid use, electrolytes and water deficency, large amounts of creatine (10-20 gms for 2 months or more), large amount of protein intake (200 gms daily for 3 months or more) ot high blood presssure can seriously damage the kidneys. The kidneys job is to remove waste from the blood through the urine. If the kidney fail to function, poisions builds up in the body, eventually causing death. By keeping the body free of water build-up can help keep the kidneys healthy. Study have shown that by drinking one gallon of water daily and taking potassium (99 mg) and B-6 (100 mg).

The Liver
The liver (located just above the stomach) is most over worked organ in the body (next to the heart). The biggest job the liver performs is in detoxing the blood, and it plays a crucial role in the digestion and metabolism of nutrients.

Nutrients, fats, protein, hormones, supplements, and other products such as drug and steroids are used and burn by the liver, but anything the liver can use or burn at that time are held and storage by the liver to be released into the body as needed. To much being held by the liver will overload the liver caused the liver to become diseased. A liver that is load-loaded are diseased is unable to eliminate the poisons, allowing them to build up in the system that can not be process or used for vital nutrients.

When the liver has become diseased, it may lack the full capacity to detoxify both endogenous and exogenous substances. The natural hormones aldosterone and estrogen are good examples. Both these substances are present naturally in excessive amounts when the liver is no longer capable of detoxifying them and switching off their activity. Normal amounts of adosterone in the blood are responsible for the correct degree of salt and water retention, when not detoxified, as occurs in chronic liver disease, it's excessive activity cause tissue swelling and water retention. An excess of estrogen-the female hormone leads to the development of female characteristics, and men chronic liver disease start to develop breast tissue-gynecomastia. Estrogen not only reduce bile flow through the liver, but also elevate bile chocesterol levels. Steroid will also tend to have longer lasting effects when the failing liver is unequal to the task of detoxification. This can be bad for athletes that are drug tested.     

Without a healthy liver you can't possibly have a healthy body. Creatine and protein along with high amounts of fat-soluble vitamins, alcohol, and drugs such as steroids, medical medication, street drugs, are all harmful substance to the liver. The liver can usually regenerate itself in time if the diet is adequate, and the harmful substance is stopped and by detoxifying the liver.   

Supplements: For both steroids users and non steroids users: Large quantities of standardized Silymarin extract (Milk Thisle) and/or Dandelion root can produce a large improvement in liver function, as well as Liver tablets. Muscle cramps have usually been experienced at one time or another by every athletic individual due to the distribution of well-developed muscles. These cramps are temporary, excruciately painful, involuntary skeletal muscle contractions, which most often occur at rest, primarily during sleep at night. These cramps initiate when a muscle already in its most shortened position involuntary contracts. The cramp is asymmetric, and usually affects the gastrocnemius muscle and small muscles of the foot. However, sometimes this can occur in just about any possible muscle location, such as the back, upper thigh, and arm areas. Individuals who also suffer from cirrhosis, or in the last months of pregnancy may also experience this type of cramp.  Ordinary muscle cramps are not due to fluid or electrolyte abnormality, however, individuals administering certain steroidal compounds often increase the chances of suffering from muscle cramps. Injectable Winstrol-V is notorious for causing very painful muscle cramps. Also, the use diuretics can also deplete levels of the mineral potassium and magnesium, resulting in an upset of the intracellular fluid balance, which results in a muscle cramp. These muscle cramps are very intense and when one is being experienced. Afterwards, the cramped area remains to be sore, somewhat similar to a bruised state.
 
The maintenace of a high potassium and malic acid -magnesium level will help lessen the possibility of constant muscle cramping. Obviously, avoiding certain compounds which are known to exaserbate muscle cramps may help prevent these muscle cramps altogether. However, if a muscle cramp does present, passive stretching of the involved muscle, rubbing and active contraction of the antagonists will relieve an established cramp.

Supplements: Reports that the malic acid -magnesium combination is extremely beneficial for muscle cramping.  A general recommended dosage is approximately for Potassium is  99 mg twice times daily.
