Arginine/Ornithine helps stimulates the release of growth hormone, which is necessary for the proper functioning of burning fat and putting on muscle. Current studies support the use of arginine supplements to ensure that nitric oxide secretion is sufficient to keep blood flowing to the penis. Nitric oxide insufficiency can stop the penis from becoming erect.

A study published in 1994 showed an 80 percent improvement in the erectile function of men given 2.8 grams of arginine a day for two weeks.

The oil constituents of a few plants, including soy beans, contain a mixture of phytosterols, or plant hormones, called beta sitosterol.  Research suggests that beta sitosterol inhibits prostaglandin synthesis thus reducing inflammation.

Studies validate a minimum of 20 mg. per day of beta sitosterol to increase urine flow and decrease residual urine volume significantly. Use at least 2 to 3 months to see results.

Sugar and insulin play an important part in feeding the muscle with fuel for growth. All carbohydrates are, converted into sugar and fats. Insulin has been called "the body's primary anabolic hormone". in effects it represents the body's signal that energy is available to support the biosynthesis of protein. With regard to protein metabolism, insulin exerts important anabolic effects on skeletal muscles and on many other bodies tissue. When working the muscle hard, it will need more fuel and the more fuel the muscle has the faster the muscle will grow and repair. Chrysin

 

Estrogen blocker Chrysin, also known as Flavone X, is structurally defined as 5,7 dihydroxyflavone. This monoflavone has generated a tremendous amount of interest due to it ability cytochrome P-450 aromatase activity. Aromatase is an enzyme that is found in large quantities in the liver (and other tissues) and is responsible for the conversion of testosterone into estrogens. this conversion is utilized by the body to keep its "gender related" testosterone: estrogen ratios in balance.  When athletes are able to supersede their "normal" production of testosterone, their aromatase activity will concomitantly rise to the challenge. This unwanted rise in estrogen concentrations may manifest a physiogical change within the body (development of breast mass, shrinkage of testis and an upregulation of fat mass deposition).  Some athletes use this for Nolvadex during cycles of steroids and with high amounts androstenedion or testosterone products.  Take 1 to 3 grams daily.

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which is an anticarcinogenic agent found in almost all foods, appears to be much efficient than Fish Oil, as it may inhibit tumor growth, increase T-cell counts, enhance the immune function, and reduce the increase of fatty deposits in the blood vessels.  CLA may be very beneficial to athletes and bodybuilders who are especially interested in increasing lean body mass while decreasing bodyfat.

DHEA is an androgenic hormone produced in the adrenal glands. In the body, DHEA is converted into other hormones such as testosterone, estrogen, progesterone or cortisol.  DHEA supplements, at 50 – 100 mg per day, have been shown to increase muscle mass and improve overall feelings of well-being among a group of 40-70 year old and athletes.subjects who took the supplements for 6 months.  Another small study showed a link between 5 months of DHEA supplementation (50mg/day) and improvements in markers of immune system function (lymphocytes, natural killer cells and immunoglobulins). Several studies have shown an increased serum testosterone levels following regular DHEA supplementation (50-100mg/day).

Caution:If you have an existing hormone-dependent tumor such as a testicular or prostate tumor, DHEA could be sent directly to the tumor, where it would be converted into the testosterone that the tumor needs to grow.

Dibencozide

Dibencozide is a natural co-enzyme of vitamin B-12 that was first used in treating height and weight deficiencies. It enhances both the transport of oxygen as well as the disposal of carbon dioxide. this process enables the body to perform at accelerated levels. it is necessary in the metabolism of fats, protein and carbohydrates. Many athletes use dibencozide to increase appetite, and to metabolize more food intake into muscle fuel. 

Dibencozide is the biologically active coenzyme of vitamin B-12. It is necessary in the metabolism of fats, protein and carbohydrates. Studies have shown it to increase muscle size and endurance. It is generally recommended that 5-10 mg one hour before training and 5 mg before breakfast and dinner.

Liver tablets Repair, Strength, Red blood cells

Beef liver tablets naturally contains an abundance of essential vitamins and minerals. Fortied with extra B-12 and iron (blood builder) and is an excellent source of amino acids, free of cholesterol, and run half the cost of amino acids and vitamins. Medium Chain Triglycerids (MCT)

"High-octane" human machine oil containing emulsified medium-chain triglycerides that are lipids composed of medium-chain fatty acids. These unique lipids provides more than twice the energy power of carbohydrates and protein and are less likley to turn into body fat than are long chain fatty acids. Bodybuilders have always searched for a supplement that will increase metabolic rate, reduce body fat and preserve muscle mass. This is especially important one week prior to a contest when calorie intake is decreased in an effort to reduce body fat to the lowest level possible without breaking down muscle protein. Despite the frequent claims for the benefits of MCTs in bodybuilding, there are no published scientific studies that have examined MCT use by body builders. The claims for MCTs are based on individual scientific studies that look at the use of MCTs in non-athletic populations. For example, a 1986 study found that the metabolic rate of seven healthy men increased by 12% with MCT ingestion versus only 4% with long chain fats. The authors speculated that weight loss would occur if MCTs were substituted for long chain fats and total calories remained the same. However, the rise in metabolic rate is small and the substitution of MCTs for long chain fats would have to be substantial for weight loss to be achieved.

MCT's can benefit athletes, especialty those athletes who are restricting carbohydrates and calories in their diet during pre-contest or fat burning. Works best when taken before heavily training and after meals.

The bark of this tall African tree contains lipophilic sterols, including beta sitosterol and sitosterone plus unique fatty acids. Researchers at Valparaiso University in Indiana found that yohimbine had more beneficial effects on most aspects of sexual response in men with erectile dysfunction than in sexually functional men, including an increase in the frequency of sexual activity and increased sexual arousal and erectile response during masturbation. Many bodybuilders use Yohimbe at the end of a steroid cycle, primarily to have increased their body's Testosterone production. Non-Steroid users use Yohimbe to increased strength along with burning more body-fat and increase libido.

The most talked about study is the following. Lorrie Brilla, PhD, a sports performance researcher at Western Washington University, recently reported that ZMA significantly increase free testosterone levels and muscle strength in NCAA football players. These ZMA study results were presented by Dr. Brilla on June 2, 1999, at the 46th Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine in Seattle, WA, and were published in the official ACSM journal, Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Vol. 31, No. 5, May 1999.

Vitamin B

Sodium and potassium are cations (positively charged atoms), and chloride is an anion (negatively charged atom) – all are essential nutrients. These minerals are supplied by the typical diet in thousands of milligrams per day. Sodium and chloride are overabundant in the diet and are not generally added as a mineral supplement.
