- Two Sessions Better than One
|
- If you want to burn more calories, you might want to
separate your training session into two 15-minute sessions instead of training once for 30
minutes. Researchers at the University of Kansas conducted a study to determine the
difference between the effects of these two types of training on calorie and oxygen
expenditure. They found that a split session with six hours of down time in-between used
more calories and oxygen than the 30 minute session did.
-
| In the study, males exercising at 70%
maximal aerobic capacity were divided into two groups. One group trained for 30 minutes.
The other trained for 15 minutes, rested for six hours, and then trained again for another
15 minutes. The result? Excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) was greater after
the two 15-minute sessions than after the 30-minute period of exercise. Measured for 40
minutes after the 30-minute session, EPOC was 5.3 liters. The EPOC after each of the
15-minute sessions, measured for 20 minutes each time, was 7.4 liters. |

Recommendations:
Two exercise sessions performed at the same intensity as one long exercise session use
more oxygen and therefore burns more total calories.

THYROX T-3 increase the rate of conversion of T-4, the low activity hormone, to T-3,
the high activity hormone. This causes an increase in basal metabolic rate, or BMR, which
are the number of calories one burns at rest. This is accomplished without the use of
stimulants but with drug-like potency. The main ingredient, Gum Guggul Extract, delivers a
powerful 300 mg of guggulsterones per dosage. On Sale Now
